His family was big into hunting, trapping and fishing which gave him a unique perspective into smoking meat, food preservation and whole animal butchery. ”I’ve always been a big fan of smoked meat and barbeque. My work provided me an avenue to travel frequently throughout Canada and the US where I was able to try many different types of BBQ and flavour profiles.
